This week, we battle Alastair’s bubon-infested throat to deconstruct genre and argue for a new taxonomy of fiction.

  1. Just fyi, but the new episode isn’t showing on Stitcher yet.

  2. Hey guys! Thanks for the shout-out and I don’t mind a bit being your “poster child” today or your discussing what I’m trying to do with my writing. Women “of a certain age” do want stories about their lives and we don’t stop being in love and being interesting just because we don’t fit into what some publishers believe is the “romance novel” demographic. Frankly, I don’t believe there is such a thing–readers love great stories and age doesn’t matter. What matters is how the story is told, how we grab our readers, how we bring them into our worlds. Great podcast this week–food for thought as I spend this week writing instead of editing other people’s work! As always, thank you!!
